Public Contracting
The Partial Amendment of the Public Contracting Law was published in the Official Gazette of September 6, 2010. The purpose of the partial amendment was to include a Chapter - Preventive Measures - which establishes that in the event of default of the contractor and risk of interruption or suspension of the works, the contracting entity may implement preventive measures to ensure the completion of the works. These preventive measures include the seizure of the goods, equipment, facilities, machinery and materiales to perform the works.
