The Resolution fixed at<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Bs.S. 30,000.00 the Unit for<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Arithmetical Calculation of the Maximum and Minimum Threshold (<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Unidad para el C\u00e1lculo Aritm\u00e9tico del<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Umbral M\u00e1ximo y M\u00ednimo<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2013<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u201cUCAU\u201d).<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page13R_mcid7\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page13R_mcid8\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"page13R_mcid8\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The Resolution establishes that<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the UCAU substitutes for the Tax Unit (\u201cT.U.\u201d) for purposes of making<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">arithmetic operations related to public contracting matters and when said T.U. is used as arithmetical calculation<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">factor for the determination of amounts in Bolivars, according to the Constitutional Law against Economic War<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">for Rationality and Uniformity in the Acquisition of Goods, Services, and Public Works.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page13R_mcid9\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page13R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"page13R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Finally, the Resolution provides that the value of the UCAU may be periodically updated through a Joint<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Resolution issued by the aforesaid Ministries, on the basis of objective criteria and when necessary to guarantee<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">to the population the rational use of public resources, optimal levels of financial performance for the protection<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">of the population\u2019s<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">fundamental rights, and the fight against distortions of national economy generated by<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">national and foreign agents for personal purposes.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page13R_mcid11\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page13R_mcid12\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"page13R_mcid12\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The Resolution became effective upon publication in the Official Gazette.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"page13R_mcid14\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">In order to access the Resolution, please click<\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.traviesoevans.com\/memos\/GO-41895-5-JUNIO-2020-Valor%20UCAU.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span id=\"page13R_mcid15\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">here<\/span><\/span><\/a><span id=\"page13R_mcid16\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page13R_mcid17\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page13R_mcid18\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"page13R_mcid18\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Should you have any question or comment or require further information, please contact the partner in charge of <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">your account via email.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>VALUE OF UNIT FOR ARITHMETICAL CALCULATION OF MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM THRESHOLD (UCAU) &nbsp;
