The Resolution established the guidelines for the total prohibition against advertisement, promotion and sponsorship, and regulation of the sale of tobacco products in the national territory.<\/p>\n<p>The aforesaid prohibition specially includes (but it is not limited to) external and internal areas of the establishments or points of sale; outside advertising means, billboards, posters, murals, transport stops or stations; print media; public service of open signal television, cable television, radio, internet or any other advertising means with cross-border effects; commercial establishments or public or private events, movie<br \/>\ntheaters, auditoriums, theaters, electronic media rental spaces, museums and libraries; parks and zoos, among others.<\/p>\n<p>All points of sale commercializing tobacco products must have on a permanent basis a public announcement with the dimensions and text specified in article 5 of the Resolution.<\/p>\n<p>Tobacco companies may not use other alternative advertising means with the purpose, effect or possible effect of inducing individuals to consume cigarettes or other tobacco products.
